Thank you for a wonderful videoπŸ‘πŸ‘ Reply 15 View all 2 replies David Brainerd David Brainerd10 months ago When I planted what I thought was a lemon (but turned out to maybe be an orange) I fertilized it with expired vitamins dissolved in water (had iron, zinc, magnesium, calcium, copper) and it turned out good. I forgot about the tree for years until it started growing lemons. After a few years though, the lemons seemed to become oranges. A surprise but not a bad one. Slowly over the years the yield became less and less until for about 4 years now, we've had nothing. My gardeners were asked to cut back the tree which was about as big as yours and they chopped off all of the sides but left the center tall and thin. The said it would help grow more lemons. Well after 2 years, the tree is full of leaves, beautiful if it were an ornamental but no lemons. Can you suggest anything? I live in Hawaii and we typically don't do anything to our avocado, oranges, bananas, etc. but I miss our full, prolific lemon tree. What are we doing wrong? The tree looks young, green and the center trunk is maybe 8 inches around. Thanks for any help you could give us.
