Top comments Mrudul Shirgurkar Mrudul Shirgurkar1 month ago Saffron is the costliest spice which do not produce any seeds. It is grown only by vegetative propagation method using the corms which grow underground. The supplier of the seeds has fooled the people by selling safflower seeds which are oil yielding seeds. Do not get confused with saffron flowers and safflower. They put safflower seeds in a saffron sachet and sold to you at rip off. Reply Happy Hopey Human Happy Hopey Human1 year ago +Nelson Mwaniki Well if their intention was to con me then they will get conned back in some shape or form. hahah I am not bothered by such thing. I believe in Khamma so perhaps I am only repaying a past life where I have conned them or....I will get it back in another life. :D There need not be contention. The important thing is to learn from this experience. Read more Reply Caren Kaziyev Caren Kaziyev1 year ago Thank you for your video. About your plants that aren't doing well- how do you know it is due to insects? Maybe fungus? I have had that happen when the moisture is very high for seed germination. Just a thought. Reply Happy Hopey Human Happy Hopey Human1 year ago +Caren Kaziyev hmmm that's a great question. I guess I just assume. hahaha When the shoots are eaten I correlate that to insect and when they have molds, dark spots & rots I think === fungus? ;) Reply sayhello2pedro sayhello2pedro1 year ago I just bought some from Ebay (Melton supplier) cant wait to throw them into my aquaponics to see how they do. I was a little concerned with the germination rate but it seems like it's not too hard.
