Ayurveda is also about balance, so the idea that you should eat the same fruit or vegetable every day is not an Ayurvedic principle. One should eat different foods to help balance one's own personal doshic makeup and certain foods are better eaten in Spring, Winter, Summer or Fall again depending on one's doshic makeup. I afford cheap fruits like banana, apple, watermelon, mango, pear(but sometimes that fruit is expensive and I think pear skin sometimes isn't fresh), papaya, hehe i love tomatoes and cucumber the combination its okay to combine them?. Anyone how to create smoothie using my afford fruits :) thank you so much in advance :D Like · Reply · 5 · Mar 11, 2016 10:22pm Eve Anne · Baltimore, Maryland I like to slice up banana's and freeze them. Then you can use the frozen banana as a base for any smoothie or just blend the banana and it tastes just like banana ice cream. I usually add, strawberry's and blueberry's or apples and spinach and peanuts, tastes pretty good. But, any combination of fruits you have will be good, if you like them. I am on a high folate diet that's why I add spinach and peanuts to mine. Also, add a little water if you want it more liquified to drink or less if you want to eat like ice cream. However, as Sylvia Surfer is writing, too much can also work negative. As well, I believe, we should also keep to what the nature gives in the climate where we are living. E.g. pineapples are growing in tropical countries, not in e.g. in scandinavia, vice verce with e.g blue berries.
