Organic Vegetables on Monday URBAN ROOFTOP GARDENING

A project funded by the Department of Agriculture - Bureau of Agricultural Research, Crop Science Cluster (DA-BAR) University of the Philippines at Los Banos, College, Laguna, studies the different ways of urban rooftop and vertical gardening. Wynward Valley Organic Vegetable Garden (Organic Vegetables) had the opportunity to visit the project site. Innovative approaches were observed, i.e. vertical vegetable gardening, containered vegetable gardening, hydroponics, etc. These studies were done to urban dwellers with limited spaces for vegetable gardening.
